Now updates Mondays!  (It’s better than “when I can” but not quite back to 3x/week. I’m working on it!)

Updates brought to you by my PATRONS.  You can be one too! For as little as $3/month, you’ll get to see the latest comic a day early! Donations of all sizes support this comic, go towards increasing the rate of updates, AND warm my heart. Win-win-win.

If you’re just tuning in, catch up on the first half of this story HERE.

And if that’s not enough to catch up, read about Jerkface and her summer plans HERE.   And HERE.  Or better yet, hit FIRST in the menu and read the whole thing from the beginning. It’s all gold, I tell you. GOLD.  And if you like it, share it! Tell your friends!  Social media something or other!  Jerkface. It’s yours to give.

Ryan North, writer of Marvel’s Unbeatable Squirrel Girl, Dinosaur Comics and more, is doing another Shakespearian choosable-path adventure! This time, it’s Romeo and/or Juliet!  And this time, it’s personal.  To me anyway! Because I drew an ending in it!

There will be endings by me AND by TOP ARTISTS OF THE WORLD like:
Kate Beaton (Hark, A Vagrant!),
Verga Brosgol (Anya’s Ghost),
Chris Hastings (The Adventures of Doctor McNinja ),
Anthony Clark (Nedroid)
Nick Gurewich (The Perry Bible Fellowship)
and literally 100,0000 more. See the full list (scroll down)!

There’s no kickstarter, since this time it’s being published by a major publisher! But you can read more about it here (scroll down to the updates!).

You can still get your hands on DRY SKIN – an alterna-verse Jerkface Story, exclusively available in PACK MENTALITY, a small press risograph printed anthology that – I must say- is DREAMY. It’s available at Gosh! Comics in London England, the Beguiling in Toronto, and at most comic and zine fairs in the Toronto area. If you are jonesing hard for one and don’t live in Toronto or London, send me an email at and we can chat about sending one in the mail. Or ask for it at your local comic store and tell them to email me! Trust me, this is incredibly worth it, gorgeous, varied, and packed full of emerging comic & illustration superstars.

Here’s what I noticed:  Because I didn’t number the Fashion pages, the 200th comic just breezed by! But not without some acknowledgment… Literary icon (and one of the world’s finest writers) Margaret Atwood responded to my tweet after reading the Book Report story (about A Handmaid’s Tale) and then making a sweet joke about Aunt Lydia!

So, without official fanfare, the 200th page of Jerkface was honoured more than I could have ever imagined. Thank you to Our Lady Atwood, to everyone who has been reading this from the beginning, and to every new reader! To the Patrons who support Jerkface financially (you can too!), the people who share this comic with their networks, and to the people who just enjoy it alone: Thank you thank you!

I was interviewed by the Geekhard podcast about the Secret Loves of Geek Girls! Check it out!

The Secret Loves of Geek Girls will be shipping out to kickstarter supporters right about now!

This anthology of comics and writing, edited by Hope Nicholson, features work from Margaret Atwood, Kate Leth, Danielle Corsetto, Soha Kareem, ME, and also did you notice MARGARET ATWOOD. Like the same Margaret Atwood who wrote The Handmaid’s Tale, that featured heavily in THIS Jerkface Story?   The same Margaret Atwood that tweeted at me above? YES, THAT ONE.  Get your copy and support not only these excellent artists, but content that isn’t about geek DUDES. As you may have noticed, that exists already.  Geeky women abound. If you’re on twitter follow @HopeLNicholson  and me, on my more general twitter handle @GillianGDotCom. (My @JerkfaceComics handle is for JFA updates and news, so OBVIOUSLY follow both).
